The reason we say that is that the grounds are protected from the sun by canopies of the very same Spanish moss-covered oak trees that the Sunshine State is so well known for.

It’s perfect if you want to hold your ceremony outside amid that classic Deep South sub-tropical aesthetic but you don’t want to get sunburn.

Actually, now that we mention it, sunburn aside, the best time to hold the actual ceremony in their outside space is probably twilight, just as the sun is setting. Think of the photos!

On the practical side of things, one of the less common things that Bakers Ranch is known for is the fact that they only host one wedding daily. That means that if you reserve there, you’ve got the whole place for the entire day.

And with four separate ceremony spaces (in addition to all of the other space in the venue), you definitely won’t have to worry about running out of great spots for photos. And aren’t the photos one of the most important parts of a wedding?

I mean, they’re what you’re going to have decades from now to help you remember and reminisce. Don’t waste that sunset!

3. Treasury on the Plaza

To round this list off, we thought we’d include a venue that’s a big higher up on the price scale and in a different part of Florida that’s just as magical as all the other parts but somehow doesn’t get quite as much notoriety.

Yes, for this last venue, we’re taking you to lovely, historic St. Augustine. And when we say historic, we mean it; built by the Spanish in 1565, St. Augustine is the oldest continuously occupied city in America.

The whole place is like a museum or a movie set. So even outside of the venue, you’ll have no shortage of glorious photo spots.

But definitely don’t overlook the venue itself either. Treasury on the Plaza is famous for good reason and they deserve every one of the 5-star reviews they’ve gotten.

With its interior inspired by the iconic art deco style of the Roaring Twenties, this former bank building is positively opulent and is exactly where you want to be if you want your wedding to be classy.

The only downside is that they don’t really have any outdoor space, but if you’re looking for indoor elegant wedding venues in Florida, you’ll have a real challenge trying to find anything more elegant than Treasury on the Plaza.

And as for outdoor spaces, like we said, you’ll be in America’s oldest city and you’ll be near the beach. So maybe don’t worry too much about that.
